Our Story
About the Matcha farm
We source our matcha from the Gokasho area of Uji City, known as the birthplace of Uji tea. Grown by a family of farmers perfecting tea-making since the Edo period, the tea gardens by the Uji River use traditional methods, including under-cover cultivation and natural farming.
Hand-harvested once a year in Spring, each leaf is carefully steamed, dried, shaped, and ground with a stone mill for the highest quality.
Our matcha is sent directly from the farm to you, offering a taste of Uji’s rich history and craftsmanship. Experience its delicate flavor and aroma, and let it transport you to the lush tea fields of Uji. We hope every sip brings you peace and enjoyment.
