Our Story
About the Matcha farm
We are proud to source our matcha from the Gokasho area of Uji City, a region renowned as the birthplace of Uji tea. Our tea is cultivated by a dedicated family of farmer who have been perfecting the art of tea-making since the Edo period. Their tea gardens, situated next to the Uji River, use traditional methods passed down through generations, including under-cover cultivation and natural farming techniques.
The matcha we offer is harvested by hand once a year during the Spring season. Each leaf is carefully steamed, dried, shaped, and ground with a stone mill, ensuring the highest quality.
Our matcha is delivered directly from the farmer’s garden to you, offering a taste of the rich history and craftsmanship of Uji tea.
Rather than simply describing the taste, we encourage you to experience it. Let the delicate flavor and aroma of this matcha transport you to the lush tea fields of Uji.
We hope you enjoy every sip and that our matcha brings you a moment of peace and enjoyment.
